You have a baby, and that's a big responsibility. But your partner needs to take time for herself, too. She needs to do some things that make her feel good. In turn, this will let her have more fun with the baby.
Here are a few suggestions:
- Watch the baby while your partner naps.
- Make your partner a warm, relaxing bath when your baby is asleep.
- Give your partner a shoulder massage when she feels tense.
- Rent a movie she'll enjoy. You both can watch it while she nurses your baby.
